Nice people make good doormats. If you are worried that if you say no you won’t be liked then think again. People respect people who can be true to their own feelings and understand their own needs and wants. Saying no when it is appropriate will add strength to your character and others will respect you. If you can’t say no then you will be at everyone else’s beck and call. Say no when it is appropriate and say it with conviction and an air of confidence. You will like yourself more when you can do it without feeling guilty.
