What is your Meyers-Briggs personality type?
I realize that tests like this put people in boxes without accounting for their complicated, subtle and varied natures, but boxes are fun! Really fun. Especially cardboard boxes. Look at this picture…

Now, if you can look me in the eye and tell me you don’t want to be placed into one of these boxes, you’re a better woman than I. Wait, that didn’t sound right. I’m not a woman. I was just trying to be politically correct. You know what, forget the damned boxes.
Here. Take this test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/J...

Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging
Don’t need a test to work those out
1 percent of the population is an INFJ- do you think it matches who you are?
Here’s a description I found. I’d say it describes me pretty well. How about you?
Characteristics
* private
* sensitive
* quiet leaders
* great depth of personality - intricately and deeply woven, mysterious, and highly complex, sometimes puzzling even themselves
* introverted
* abstract in communicating
* live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities - part of an unusually rich inner life
* abstract in communicating
* artistic (and natural affinity for art), creative, and easily inspired
* very independent
* orderly view towards the world but within themself arranged in a chaotic, complex way only they could understand
Relationships
An INFJ is often hard to get to know. They are selective about their friends, but such a friendship is a symbiotic bond that transcends mere words… They hunger for deep and meaningful relationships, provide spiritual intimacy for their mates, and can only be emotionally intimate and fulfilled with a chosen few from among their long-term friends, family, or obvious “soul mates.” In such relationships, they strive for mutuality, don’t believe in compromising their ideals, and can understand and deal with complex issues and people.
Towards others
It can be difficult for an INFJ to articulate their deepest and most convoluted feelings to others. They tend to be secretive by holding back and protecting part of themselves, thus creating hidden sides to their personality. They are choosy of what and when to share things and tend to only truly do so with those they trust. When they reveal things, it is often through speaking interpretively and metaphorically of the abstract world of their imagination.
I’ve had INFJ and INTJ before, in about equal measure I think =/
ESFP’S ARE ARTISAN PERFORMERS Besides being concrete in speech and utilitarian in reaching their goals, the Performer Artisans are collaborative and expressive in their social interactions. Thus, while Performers are usually extreme in their expressiveness and sociability, observably the most expressive of all the types, they are not comfortable telling others what to do, preferring to offer information rather than to issue orders.
Demonstrating or performing is putting on a show to entertain others, and Performers, whether on the job, with friends, or in their families, are the natural performers among the types, people for whom it can truly be said “all the world’s a stage.” Playful and fun-loving, the Performer’ primary social interest lies in stimulating those around them, arousing their senses and their pleasureful emotions-charming them, in a sense, to cast off their concerns and “lighten up.” Representing about ten per cent of the general population, Performers radiate warmth and optimism, and are able to lift others’ spirits with their contagious laughter and their irrepressible joy of living.
It is well that Performers are plentiful, something over ten per cent of the population, because they bring joy to so many of us. They love the excitement of playing to an audience, and they try to generate a sense of “showtime” wherever they are. Performers are not comfortable being alone most of the time, and seek the company of others whenever possible — which they usually find, for they make wonderful playmates. Lively, witty conversationalists, Performers always seem to know the latest jokes and stories, and are quick with wisecracks and wordplay — nothing is so serious or sacred that it can’t be made fun of. Performers also like to live in the fast lane of society, and seem up on latest fads of dress, food, drink, and entertainment, the chic new fashion, the “in” nightclub, the “hot” new musical group. Energetic and uninhibited, Performers create a mood of “eat, drink, and be merry” wherever they go, and life around them can have a continual party-like atmosphere.
Does that seem like a pretty good description of you, Lena?
Actually I got googled it and yeah that is a very eeriely correct but it went into much detail i’ll have actually read it tho later cause it is a pretty in depth decription

Sorry Lena, that link didn’t work for me.

Sorry, I am very close to 50 on most of the scale and this evaluation says I am INTJ. The description sound like me, too.
Do I know you?
ENTJ
Finally I took a test and got the same results as someone else. I usually end up with some one of a kind label and feel like im being told no matter what it says “Lady only you got this so it must mean you are retarded lol”

I’ts very accurate in my case.
There’s a slight problem with everybody thinking they’re INFJ. Would a real INFJ bother mentioning it? Could they even identify themself?
I only see two (and a half) people who identified themselves as an INFJ so far. I’m not sure what you mean by real INFJ.
I’ve taken a real test 2X with a real psychologist and both times I am INTP. Somehow these tests say a lot. Even when I take little fun tests they also come out at INTP.
Here’s the breakdown so far. Seems pretty balanced except for the intuitive to sensing ratio. Not many sensors. They must be special.

The second letter is either N for iNtuitive or S for Sensing. Probably because the letter I is already used for Introverted. So, I’m guessing that you are intuitive, right?
I’m not sure what happened… here’s a list of the different types: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Br…
I love the fact that the tags for this post include “accountancy” and “corrugated fiberboard”.
This is true, Anonymous. I do intend to place you all in your respective boxes. Roshyo, since you’re half way between INFJ and INTJ, I think I’m gonna go ahead and put you in the INTJ box with Ken and Anonymous. It’s nothing personal, it’s just that getting into boxes with people toting semi-automatic weapons is one of my phobias. How do you think I ended up with these holes in my cheese?
Apparently I’m an ENFP, lol. Which makes me “The Champion, The Inspirer, The Visionary, The Journalist, The Reporter and The Discoverer Advocate.” That actually fits disturbingly well. In high school I tried to bring about a more moderate version of SDS. After I realized the problems inheirent in forming groups, I tried to live as an example. Being a free radical for lack of any other words. A long story short, the test plopped me into a box uncanily well.

Haha…for someone with a “perceiving” personality I was not very perceptive this time. Hurray! I’m not alone in the iNFp box.
Deep? Thanks :)
I noticed that they’re both 3 syllable names…coincidence? Probably. Lol.
ESFJ
im very emotional……i guess.
Yay! We have another ENFP, along with Mitz and I!

I didn’t write down all the numbers …
But, it does describe me pretty accurately.
I am an intj, very strongly expressed in all categories.
Anyone check socionics.com for information on the types? My description correctly described my physical characteristics based on my personality type, which is pretty amazing.
No, I hadn’t checked socionics.com, but I’ll do that soon, thanks!
Your Type is

This is what i got!!
I’m a little late to this post, but mine is ENFP. I have done this test in the past, and my results seem to be consistent.

Here’s a question for you Limon, thought I’d put it in this thread. Is it possible to assess romantic compatibility using a Meyers Briggs personality indicator?
I was considering that too Betta! I can’t figure this one guy out for the life of me, and based on my own personality type I like to know what’s going on in other’s heads.. I really want him to do this test so I can have a better idea as to what he’s like.
Well, one article I read suggested that we are romantically compatible with those who share a common vision, but approach the world very differently from us.
“If we are laid-back and indecisive, our partner will be structured and decisive. If we are reserved, our partner will be outgoing. For all of our apparent differences, we will share a common vision of what’s truly important in life.”
Source: http://personalitypage.com/partners.html
Based on the article, you will be most compatible with someone who is the same as you on the Sensing/Intuition scale and opposite you on both the Introvert/Extorvert and Judging/Perceiving scales. So, Dizzydaisy’s ideal partner is either ENFP or ENTP. Betta’s ideal partner is either ENTJ or ENFJ.
I’m INTJ!
I’ve taken one of these before, about 4 years ago, which was much longer, and got the same result, I think.
Bah ha ha ha haha haha im esfp
