Hi.

I am having so many troubles with hooking up a router for my laptop. I have a Linksys broadband router and it is hooked to my pc. But when i go to my Macpro laptop i cannot get a connection to the internet. Does any ne know what i am doing wrong?

do u use wire or signal?
is there anything covering the signal? had that problem myself.

I use a signal. but it is not covered. LOL i had to check that one!

Don’t do anything on the Mac.
Just make sure that you emit signals from your PC. (like sharing internet wirelessly).

If the signals are there, the Mac will find them! (If it does not, turn on “Airport” and it will!)

Or even better, get an Airport base station or a D-link emitter (the latter costs very little), and pick up wirelessly with both the PC and the Mac. Then you will not have to turn on the PC to use the Mac.
