I’ve heard in the past that it can cause your bones to become brittle later on plus it can lead to memory loss.
I recommend that you read these articles before considering Shock Therapy.

It has negative connotations for me. It sounds like an archaic barbaric form of treatment. A torture method. I wouldn’t go for it. I’m sure their are other treatments for you.
