Anyone out there know how this can be done? I have figured out how to save the file on my computer via the print command. However, you have to provide a name for the file. I have tried to add .swf and .flv but nether file type is recognized by the Flash Player. So i thought since I can’t find an exe for Flash Player maybe it’s only a browser plug-in so I drug it to both IE and Firefox. Still nothing seems to wor

There may be some programs on http://www.versiontracker.com

“iSquint” is a great program for converting .flvs or Flash video files to .mp3s.

If you use Firefox you can save videos from sites like youtube with a handy addon called DownloadHelper
Then download a converter from one of the recomended links in earlier posts. Or from this Google search

When you download it from videodownloader, right-click the thing and go “save link as” and type in something.flv (replace something with something) and then get eRightSoft SUPER and you can convert it.

For Firefox there’s a plugin called DownloadHelper (as mentioned by JustTryingToHelp). To convert the file to a format you can put on an iPod, the BitComet FLV File Converter is a good program.

RealPlayer has a bonus now. Whenever you are on a website that has video (some work, some don’t - youtube does) that is not encrypted, you are able to download/save the video to your computer. It will play back on your RealPlayer, but I have not tried to add it to my mp3 player as of yet.

I hope this helps, if you haven’t already gotten it figured out. :)
