I have a long-distance friend over the internet who is depressed.
He is 17 and I don’t/know anyone in ‘real life’ who could talk to him. He goes in and out of depression, (I’m pretty sure it is real depression, not just teenage ups and downs.) He has said he’s thought about it would be better if he was dead and how he is the cause of so many problems. People cyberbully him, so he doesn’t talk to them and avoids the internet for a while, but he always comes back. He talks to me, but I’m not sure what to say when he says he is going to ‘quit’ AIM or not talk about regular things. How can I help him? I love him.
Sincerely,
A concerned freind
