it’s algebra 2. here it is: f(x)=-4|x+2|-3

ok, so this is what i have so far.
f(x) is the same as y, so y=f(x).
so, y=-4|x+2|-3 and the (h,k)=(-2,-3)
then i di a t chart that x=-3 and -1. so i plugged that to the problem and got: -7 for both, but when i check it with o i get -5 what am i doing wrong?or am i supposed to get that?

my assumption would be to add the two things in the absolute value signs and u change that # to a positive if it’s not already, then multiply that with -4 and then -3.
