Sometimes we meet people that live far away and they seem to have all the right words. They make us feel good about ourselves and we can’t wait to chat with them again, but it’s a whole different thing being around someone day after day, week after week, and year after year. You can’t really get to know how who someone really is until you have spent large amounts of time face to face going out doing things with them. If you haven’t done this together that’s why he doesn’t have a connection with you. You may feel that you love him, but to be in love is something totally different. Sounds like you have a good friendship started with him.
