how do you know that hes in heavan? my question is, to you, what do you think that it takes to get to heaven(besides dying)

ill tell you what the bible says about it, but thats as far as ill take it religously.

first off, hes not in heaven unless he was saved. (various versus, would cite but im kinda lazy). second off, you cant get to heaven unless your saved.

saved meaning that you believe in christ allowing you to go to heaven when you dont deserve it because he died for you.

in the event he was not saved, many people assume that in hell you cannot interact with other people, or it is infinite lonelyness. since this guess is as good as any, going to hell isnt the answer

okay, now, christianity does not teach that suicide means you will go to hell(despite what some people say, its not in the bible). but that doesnt mean you wont be punished for it somehow.




now that all “religous statements” i will make have been said, i can actually tell you what i think.

if you live your life the way he would want you to live it, i think you will do more for his memory than anything else. if you die, then do you really think he would have wanted that? that would be the worst thing you could do for him.

I don’t agree with fraggedme, and he doesn’t agree with me. but if you read the bible, there is nothing about needing to be forgiven before you die. if your like me, you commit a sin at least every hour, you lie or do something you shouldn’t, like say the word god, as in “oh god”. this is a sin because you are taking the lords name in vain. if you need to be forgiven, you would have to ask forgiveness every ten seconds for the rest of you life, just in case you died. this is not in the bible, and comes from what makes sense to us, but isn’t necessarily true.

but you will not go to hell because of this. when you are saved, you are forgiven for all your sins, including the ones yet to come. you still need to ask for forgiveness but you cant go to hell, even by suicide. anyone who states otherwise is making it up, or heard it from an idiot.

lastly, being good cannot get you to heaven unless you are perfect, if you were to live your whole life and commit one sin of lying, you would go to hell. but if you are saved, you can murder ten people then commit suicide, and you’ll still go to heaven.

I just wouldn’t want to be you when you would meet God…
