What is a SIMPLE recipe to make for a birthday dinner?

I want to make my boyfriend a nice dinner for his birthday but he usually cooks because he is a chef. Anybody have any ideas on how I can make a really tasty dinner that is easy enough for a person with limited cooking skills?

If he likes steak, get a T-bone or New York strip cut steak, green beans and a nice salad and his birthday cake. This is easy and simple with little mess and has a personal feel to it. My girlfriend made this for me. Hope this helps :-)

Try rock cornish game hens…they’re just little chickens. Cover them in melted butter, season, cook for 45 minutes on 400 and baste w/ butter for the last 20 minutes of cooking until the skin is golden brown. Then just do some simple sides.

What is a good kind of steak to get? He likes rib eye, but that’s very expensive.

Try a New York Strip or T-bone these are very good cuts of meat but dont cook them over medium other wise they start to get tough, also dice up a couple of potatos and fry or bake them. You should be able to make this dinner for around 30 dollars. Hope this helps :-)

Wow him with monk fish, it is not expensive, it used to be called poor man’s salmon. Just put in a meatloaf pan with garlic, small pink of salt and a stick of butter. Get the skin removed at the butcher. It is pink when you put it in a white and flaky when you take it out, it is delicious.
