If you get particularly good service, should you say something?

I hate doctors/hospitals and have a severe phobia about them. I told the CNA who was helping me this and she was really really nice to me, talking to me, helping me, getting me juice and I said I was interested in psychology so she went down and borrowed the DSM (a really important psychology book) from one of the doctors so I wouldn’t have to read a boring magazine. She made me so I didn’t have a panic attack like I usually do (and nobody usually cares). Should I tell the hospital about how good I was treated and how would I go about doing that?

I don’t know how you would go about it but I would say something, that woman really put an effort toward making you comfy and deserves recognition for being so good at what she does

If it made that much of an impact on you then why not let the hospital know how good you were treated? Call the hospital and ask how to get in touch with the human resources department or a hospital administrator.

Send the nurse a “Thank you” card inside a complementary note that you send to the hospital/doctors office.

Also put it in writing, so that there is an official record of this, besides sending the young lady a personal note, Im sure she would have a really good feeling inside if you did.
