Course you can. Just gotta make sure you’re looking to make true friends, and remember that popularity is a very fickle thing. I know it’s a bit cliche, but it’s true that if you have confidence, then you won’t have to look very far to find friends.

And like Lov3Indi3 said, understanding is acquired with age, with most people.
