My husband is gay and we no longer wish to be married to each other.

We are now going to try and get an uncontested divorce. We have no children. We would like to go about this divorce in an inexpensive, mess-free manner. We are still friends and harbor no hard feelings against each other. We both just want to get on with our lives. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can go about getting this divorce?

I went through a no fault divorce with my ex-wife and it isn’t hard at all. You just have to fill out the right paperwork and pay any associated fees and you are set.

i really have no idea but i can i ask did he just came of the blue and said “babe I’m gay” or were there signs. its good that you have not bad feelings towards him. But whats done is done so the best you can do it get back into the scene although it might take some time. just do the necessary and you’ll be a free woman.

I forgot to mention that you should be able to get everything you need (information/paperwork) at your county clerks office.

The person filing generally has to pay the fees but if it’s mutual, I’m sure you two could work something out and be done sooner than later, especially if you take care of splitting your assets on your own.

All you have to do is go to your court house or you can print the forms online and your state gov. site and fill them out and file them in the court house. Here in NC it is $135.00, I don’t know about your state. Good luck..

Have you exceeded the statutes of limitation for the wrongful charges? This is really important in building a case for yourself or for finding a lawyer to take on your case. You may need to find a lawyer who would help with one aspect of the suit, thereby, maybe making other suits easier to prosecute in the future.

You can get a kit that includes the legal forms you need to file for divorce along with a handbook that will guide you through filling out and filing the divorce paperwork in your state at [ http://www.legalformsbank.biz/unconte… ].
