BitDefender? It only gave me and everyone I know headaches. I always recommend NOD32 to everybody and they’re fully satisfied with it.
I don’t recommend Norton because it uses a lot of resources while Avast! and BitDefender can be annoying sometimes and I’ve seen too many cases when HiJackThis + WinXP in safe mode helped me get rid of viruses that weren’t even detected by those.

Photoshop .. that’s cool! I’ve never used it but I’ve seen plenty of stuff made in PS.
Opera and FireFox saved us when the net was full of remote exploits for IE.

To that list, I’d like to add WinAmp and the classic messengers: Yahoo!, MSN and Skype

If we may include old programs then let’s not forget about F-Prot, Norton Commander and arj.

I don’t know much about Linux. Is there someone who would like to add some of the most popular Linux programs to this list?

VLC ( for all your video needs)
VNC ( Virtual Network Connection for all your remote desktop needs… so much easier than Remote Desktop to set up, and much more reliable and more options)

I love Opera.

I use Orbit constantly (downloads things off webpages, such as music off Pandora… only slightly illegal)

Google, Gmail, yahoo

StumbleUpon (soon coming to OPERA!!!!!)

I can’t think of anything I use daily. There are things that I like though, like photoshop and Gentoo (linux)… hmm
