Through evolution, they evolved from the species before them. (I don’t know wht it says chickens evolved from… the nuggetsaurus rex) and then laid the first true chicken egg.

Through creationism, they came from nowhere, God just said, “Let there be small, useless birds for purpose of human and fox consumption” and it was so.

Chicken tastes better to me cold, and egg tastes better hot. So “hot” means coming out of the microwave last, “cold” chicken means coming out of the microwave first and waiting in the fridge. Therefore, chicken might come first! :D That’s my theory.
