life help: what is beauty? - Help.com

personal opinion makes things beautiful. it could just be someones personality, someones looks, something that you enjoy being around. thats true about how if you are around someone who is physically “beautiful”, it will be the norm. thats why people need to see the truth, that people/things are different, and dont look the same for many reasons. it sucks, but thats how it is. my personal preference is that to be beautiful, people dont have to look the greatest (although it is a plus), their personality is what is beautiful to me

about that beauty becoming the norm. its like celebrities and models. how many celebrities are there that are “ugly”. people make it the norm. everyone is beautiful in their own way.

that’s not it. Not at all. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder it’s only when we compare the beauty of one thing to that of another that it becomes “less” or “more” beautiful. We don’t need to compare to know.

The most wonderfull beauty comes from honesty,a kind word uttered when it is needed,to support,a smile from the heart,a loving touch,comforting,never discriminating always eager to listen and most of all never judging.

i thought of something earlier today, i dont think it was about beauty, but it was something about becoming the norm. it realli pisses me off that i cant remember it. if i figure out what it was, ill let you know

OKAY. I GOT IT!!! If you are always around a perfect environment, without any problems, that seems like the norm to you. apparently, i havent seen so much trouble. about a week or 2 ago i was at my friends house and her parents were fightin, and for some reason, i thought to myself that -”wow, it feels weird experiencin this”, and last night, i was at my other friends house, juzt chillin, and his uncle came and was either drunk or coked up, and i thought again, “this doesnt seem real”. when you are around problems alot, that seems normal, but its like the opposite, you dont think anything is ever good, and when your around good, your think that you wish it happend like that to you. all im tryin to say is that if you just stop and think about -is this real and just think about the situation, it feels weird. lately ive been experiencin stuff like that. its almost like time has stopped and where im at is secluded from other places. like we (me n my friends/my town) is the only thing that exists. its weird

Beauty is beauty. There is no “if”. Either it’s beautiful or it isn’t. Whether or not you are too familiar with it to know the difference.
