Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
did you stop doin them?
I suppose you could report yourself to a hospital. But if rehab is not an alternative, I don’t know what you could do.
look on the internet for help. go to a rehab website and look and see if it has things on how to stop. or look on the internet for how to make your life better. and by the look of your picture, you prolli smoke weed, dont u, haha, jk, but honestly, there are ways to get your life back on track
he prolli duz
If you really wanna quit you’d stop hangin out with your friends because thats the people who probably you do it with.
i hate drinkin
and Gerogina, thatz a ghood idea

whuttz HAPPenin
and your from Troy, Michigan
no way it says your from temecula!
It’s not that easy with pain killers…it’s not the same as amphetamines. Oxycontin and the like are opiate based and the withdrawals are horrendous. I’m so sorry for what you’re going thru….have you ever tried a narcotics anonymous group for information? They’re free. The people there might know where you can go to deal with your withdrawals.
And you can’t just quit pain pills without observation….it can send your heart into shock. You really need to go to a doctor.
i ll check it out… and yes i do like the dead, unfourtinatly, my parents are out of the picture, but ill check out some NA meetings or something like that…and i do not live in troy… but close..
peace
ill help…..i am helping my friend with the same problem :)
You do need to go to a hospital… thats the only thing I can think of, you can’t just quit that stuff cold turkey.

There must be free therapy for these things, I live in Ireland so I wouldn’t know. USE this opportunity while your dry to go seek help! You CAN do this and it will be easier with help. We are always here on this site anytime you need to talk, or even just to chat about random crap, take care and good luck!
Hmmm… I will try to do a little research. I can not promise anything. But, I am fairly certain there is a free help program you could get into.
Thanks guys… oxy is one hard **** to quit… the worst thing was at one point i was getting them for free… which obviously built up an addiction… but that changed thankfully… i would go to the hospital but because of a slight mess up in my past, if i were to go in there for an addiction problem, the police will be involved… which i cant have happen… but theres always options…
thanks…peace
Try tapering when it comes to Xanax. M understanding is that with Benzos, that stopping them might be too risky, so Dr. Ashtons method is preferd. I found some info here: http://www.myaddiction.com/xanax_addi…
you are only 16 man you got the rest of you life in front of you!! You want to kick your habit young and never go back to them. i can speak from experience i am currently addicted to oxys myself I just snorted e 80s ten minutes ago, and no i am not pround of that. I am 28 and am to the point were I have to go to rehab or I am going to lose everything, I mean everything my wife, daughter, house, family i can keep going and going. I am ready to quite which was the first step and am going to rehab in 2 days already have everything set up, and I am looking forward to this day. The wds are hell, I give you a reciepe with some over the counter items to help you, but remeber you are young and got your whole life ahead of you, get it out of your system and dont relapse, dont go back. Always remember how bad the wds are always keep that in your head as reminder if you get tempted to use. With oxy no matter how strong you are after you were addicted you can not be a chipper there is no way you will use occasionaly use so dont ever try, dont use at all also make sure you remove yourself from the any situtation where you might become tempted to use..that means dont hang around with people who use.
Below is a “reciepe” tht I used to use when I kicked, it is all over the counter itmes that you can bye (expect for the benzsn for sleep) most you can buy at GNC and it really helps, like the potassuim for reasltess leg, and the b6, follow the reccomendations and it will help you more then you could imagine.
REMEMBER TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME! IT GETS BETTER EACH DAY!
Recipe for kicking opiates:
. Valium (or another benzodiazepine such as Klonopin, Librium, Ativan or Xanax). Of these, Valium and Klonopin are best suited for tapering since they come in tablet form. Librium is also an excellent detox benzo, but comes in capsules, making it hard to taper the dose. Ativan or Xanax should only be used if you can’t get one of the others.
2. Imodium (over the counter, any drug or grocery store).
3. L-Tyrosine (500 mg caps) from the health food store.
4. Strong wide-spectrum mineral supplement with at least 100% RDA of Zinc, Phosphorus, Copper and Magnesium.
5. Vitamin B6 caps.
6. Access to hot baths or a Jacuzzi (or hot showers if that’s all that’s available).
How to use the recipe:
Begin your detox with regular doses of Valium (or alternate benzo). Start with a dose high enough to produce sleep. Before you use any benzo, make sure you’re aware of how often it can be safely taken. Different benzos have different dosing schedules. Taper your Valium dosage down after each day. The goal is to get through day 4, after which the worst WD symptoms will subside. You shouldn’t need the Valium after day 4 or 5.
During detox, hit the hot bath or Jacuzzi as often as you need to for muscle aches. Don’t underestimate the effectiveness of hot soaks. Spend the entire time, if necessary, in a hot bath. This simple method will alleviate what is for many the worst opiate WD symptom.
Use the Imodium aggressively to stop the runs. Take as much as you need, as often as you need it. Don’t take it, however, if you don’t need it.
At the end of the fourth day, you should be waking up from the Valium and experiencing the beginnings of the opiate WD malaise. Upon rising (empty stomach), take the L-Tyrosine. Try 2000 mgs, and scale up or down, depending on how you feel. You can take up to 4,000 mgs. Take the L-Tyrosine with B6 to help absorption. Wait about one hour before eating breakfast. The L-Tyrosine will give you a surge of physical and mental energy that will help counteract the malaise. You may continue to take it each morning for as long as it helps. If you find it gives you the “coffee jitters,” consider lowering the dosage or discontinuing it altogether. Occasionally, L-Tyrosine can cause the runs. Unlike the runs from opiate WD, however, this effect of L-Tyrosine is mild and normally does not return after the first hour. Lowering the dosage may help.
With breakfast, take the mineral supplement.
As soon as you can force yourself to, get some mild exercise such as walking, cycling, swimming, etc. This will be hard at first, but will make you feel considerably better.
Hope this helps!
Brian you aren’t alone Percocet and other pain killer addiction is rampant and spreading
