Hi.

I don’t know why I am saying this but i am sooo upset. I want to go to private school soo bad and when I say so bad I mena give up my car when I turn 16 bad. But my family can’t afford it. My dreams are crushed because of our money. i hate it. its no wonder why people go emo ( I have been thinking about it) or kill themselves

I mean yeah… it sucks that you won’t get to go to the school you want to. But that’s just kinda how life goes. You can’t have everything you want! I’m sure you’ll make it…

well try to think of it this way:
if your not meant to go to the school then thats that.. Everyone has a path in this life and maybe going to a private school isn’t a part of your path. If your meant to go to a private school you will. You can always try though. Try talking to other family members about donating money, start a money raising fund, do car washes with your friends, or if your too young i would say get a job or be a baby sitter… You can also get loans as well but i dont know how old you have to be.

for now it seems so important to you to go to private, but with time you’ll find out that this is really nothing compare to others suffers and problems! Enjoy what you have instead of wishing something else!

wait! how are your grades? there’s money to be had out there. there are scholarships and there are grants and there are affirmative actions things if you are a minority. write the dean. write an intelligent argument on why you should have this opportunity even though your parents can’t afford it.
start making noise about it. maybe there is some rich old lady who lost a daughter who wants to send you instead. there’s money out there. get your hands on it. bug people.

magickmuffin does have a point…. Maybe you could write a letter to the school and see if there are any longtime donors, etc that may be interested in kind of ’sponsoring’ your attendance. Maybe you could also get lots of people to write you letters of reference. That helps! You could also possibly work at the school…like in the cafeteria, or library…to help off-set the costs. Kind of a long shot…but hey, why not?! Good luck. :)
