I’m emotionally drained.

I am a 24 year old bloke and I never knew I could feel like this! I broke up with my girlfriend a month ago, but otherwise life is good and i’m physically well, it’s just things seem to be so much more effort and i feel little but indifference to things. My emotions have run dry! How do i get that spring back in my step?

Get out and do things! Don’t focus on the past and your girlfriend. Meet new people, go out with friends, do things you enjoy and life will become better.

i feel the same way. i know exactly how you feel.. it helps to be around people you feel comfortable with. mentaly and emotionaly. i dont feel all better yet, but i’m getting there. it also helps to tell ppl how you feel. i dont like telling people how i feel in person, cause i always mess up. so that’s why i chose to belong to this site. so i can tell people how i feel without feeling ashamed. so feel free to anounce how you feel on this site cuz ppl will listen. and if you really need someone to talk to, you can always talk to me!!! i understand how you feel son no worries here.^_^!! i hope you get better soon. i’ll try my hardest to get better, so you try too k?! dont give up.

I know I feel that way when: I’ve been eating lots of fast food or just not eating very well over a couple days. If im not getting any sun. If im just working and sleeping. What you probably need is to get some sort of exercise and/or do something you havent done before. Anything new will stimulate you out of your rut.
