Any problems with Norton Internet Security?

Why is it that Norton Internet Security doesn’t work with Norton’s System Works? Also, I’ve switched to Zone Alarm but it doesn’t like ANY Symantec products, although I did get a 2005 Norton System Works to run adequately (with much work)
