I am 6′3 and my boyfriend is 5′6.5. I am huge and he is puny……very unlikely that we would be together,……but what fun it is…….he more than makes up with his sense of humour and energy.
I publicly lift and carry him and he is cool (n cute)…

I can tutor you in math if you like! :) anyhoo I am only 5″ taller than my man, but I can carry him around with only one hand, and he doesn’t care a thing in the world if I wear my 6″ heeled boots and dwarf his tiny form by 11″ (see I can add! lol). Yes we get stares and comments, but I consider it an opportunity to educate the poor souls who apparently have no clue how much shallowness and ignorance they expose by pointing out our height difference, as if it wasn’t already obvious. So you see, it only matters if you decide it does, and clearly you’ve already decided that personality and compatible are much more important than a silly thing like height. Wait a while and people your age will catch on! Trust me it gets easier!

My fiance` is 5′4 and I am 5′8. I know it doesn’t seem like much, but we use to get stares quite a bit, because I always used to wear heals. Now, I am an addict of flats, and for our wedding, he’s getting “height increasing shoes for men” that don’t look like they’re height increasing. He’s gaining 4 inches, plus they’re light weight, so he can move around easily. That way, we’ll be the same height, and God forbid, will never have to use a stool. :/ If you want to look into them, just type that in google [height-increasing shoes for men]. If you guys are serious about being together, I would suggest getting one pair of formal height-increasing shoes for him, and you wearing flats. The bonus is that flats don’t kill your feet like heals do! But if you have any doubts about being together, don’t bother. Honestly, homecoming is a big deal at this time in your life, but people will be noticing you more than him, and the night will be history sooner than you realize. I say, in the end, go for what looks the best on you. Plus, guys like being at the boob level anyway! Good luck.

why does everybody think the guys are the ones self conscious about their height with their tall girlfriends? sure I’m a little self conscious about being short, but if I had a taller girlfriend I wouldn’t care since I already have her,

iam 5.10 and he only 5.8,when we going out side we get some looks from outside,he hates this difference,in my working hours iam wearing 3 inch heel,but now he likes my height and heel,some time we compare our height infront of mirror that is very funny moments

Me and my boyfriend have been dating a while and all tho we are only 15 we love each other. and hes shorter than me. im 5ft 2 and hes 5ft 1 may not sound to diffrent but its quite a lot when you are the taller one, so guys dont worry your gf proberly will worry about height to but it gets much easier. now i really dont care how tall he is. coz hey looks dont matter its all in the perosnality so dont worrry.

Been with my gf since i was 14, now im 21. I was 4′11 at the time, she was 5′4. We both thought I’d grow, so it was fine, but I only grew to 5 ft and she shot up to 6 ft, and wears mostly 4-8 inch heels arround me when we go out. It’s ok, I dont mind, except when 12 of her tall girly friends who were all over 5′10″ wore platforms round me on a night out. I felt a bit intimidated then.

Being the shortest in my family made me the person i am today.Standing at only 5′0 and never to grow another inch has i am now 50.Height didnt bother me has i had good people around me all y friends are great even though i used to always have the odd nickname.I always thought i would never find a women but i did so when i reached 25.My darling wife is obviously taller than me what more could i expect the shorter women didnt want to know so it was their loss anyway.My wife is about 5′8 and we both manage with the height difference we never gave it a thought.We also have 2 sons the eldest is 21 and he is 5′7 then comes another son who is 18 and he is 5′5.Our youngest is a daughter and she is 16 and she is such a darling.What she lacks in height she makes up for in personality she is 4′10 now and i would like it so much if she could gain a few more inches.She says she is okay about it has she is in good company being short has there are 2 of her friends that are both under 5′0 as well.If me or my daughter are in the kitchen and we cant reach something high the chairs in the kitchen have to move to give us a boost.Luckily when my wife hears the chairs going she in in like Flint and helps us.I think the boys find it frustrating not being overily tall and both are accepting their heights now.We all have things in life that we dont like about ourselves for most of the people it is their height.

For me having my husband the same height is wonderful.I mean the only time i am taller than him is when i wear my heels.Barefoot we are both 5′4 i know it is rather short for a guy but who cares.We are also lucky enough to have a son who is 5′7 and our daughter who is 5′5.I cant help it when we go out and i chuck on a pair of heels i mean i am still shorter than our son anyway.Just being able to see in each others eyes is great.I wouldnt change him for the world.

my boyfriend is shorter than i am. At first i was hesitant to like someone who was shorter than i was, but then i noticed height doesnt matter if you truly like someone. The height is just something you have to look past, and accept. If he grows, he grows. If he doesnt, dont stop loving him because of his heigh. If when your with him, he makes you feel like a one of a kind girl, then you should be with him. I wouldnt change my boyfriend one bit, i love him with all my heart.

i absolutely HATE being taller than my boyfriend! i feel so awkward standing next to him and hugging him, since he is at almost boob height. i still love him but i just wish he would grow, a lot! we are only 13 so im guessing he has a lot of growing to do even though his family is short too

im like 1 or 2 inches taller than my bf.. but hes fit! and i really love him, i usually wear flats and hes usually in shoes and stuff so we work out at abt the same height, at the end of the day, its all stereotype and culture differences of what were meant to find attractive, but love short guys i dont ever remember me lookign at a tall guy adn thinking tht hes good looking! lol anyway wear what u look nice in, adn if he doesnt mind or isnt self concious, who gives a crap what others say? aslong as u look hot and hes happy :D

my boyfriend is 5ft 5″ and im 5ft 11″ we love it! he loves thinking that his girl is a model… and ofcourse because we are at school we get the stupid comments…. who care’s….. who decided in history tha the man had to be taller? i love it and most of the time he wears his D C’s and that adds 3 inches so then its not so bad :)

My boyfriend and I are freshman and he is 4′10″ and a half and I am 5′7″ an 3/4ths (I’m Swedish) and we get so many stares. Truthfully, it’s hard for me because I’m new to it, the height difference thing. Any tips for me? Because that’s a big height difference and I dont know if he’d ever want me to pick him up or carry him.. lol but btw; we have been together for a year and a half but the height issue has just kicked in.. Help? And we do love each another, not the issue.

Honestly, height shouldn’t matter. I’m in the same exact situation. My boyfriend and I have been together for six months… I’m 5.10 and he’s 5.8. He doesn’t mind l that I’m taller, even if I wear 5inch heels, but *I* feel uncomfortable about it, so mostly I only wear flats. If it is something that bothers you and not just him then you can ask him to buy shoes with some heel. My boyfriend actually wore platform boots when I first met him and he was still shorter. Guys grow, my boyfriend doubts he will, but in the end it doesn’t matter as long as you are happy with eachother. Don’t worry about what people think, if they bring it up just be like “yeah, so? Me and my husband are similar in height.I think there is about 2 inches in it for me.
I have never minded him being a little shorter than me.I am 5′5 and he is 5′3.In my family i was the shortest and so was he.I generally dont wear heels around him has i think it looks better.I mean what is 2 inches anyway not much.So we are good with it and so alot of other people.
