Hi, I recently found a website that posted what’s called Invisible Folder.

That is where you create a new folder name it with Alt 0160; change the icon to nothing and It appears as if the folder is not even there. Well I found out how to delete it but for some reason it keeps saying “The Process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process” They say to delete it by using the command prompt to change the name then it can be deleted but every time I try that’s what it says. I even tried restarting my computer then changing it but still same answer

I thought this would be a cool thing to learn just for fun and now it’s a nightmare

Can anyone help me?

Oh and I have Windows Vista Home Basic, and I also did it to my windows xp computer too and can’t get it off that either.

Well that’s a new one. Try going to SAFE mode (when booting up press F8. Select safe mode with arrows). Login as administrator. Then try again to delete the folder. If that doesn’t work reboot again in safe mode and choose RESTORE. You can try restoring back to before your unfortunate incident. However, doing this will cause you to loose some of the new stuff during the time between. So save anything important to removable media.

Good luck Ron
