Where were you?

i dont know how i have new credit and i do have one card that is max out
Well if you dont have any money and cant get a loan, your going to have to start small and working for your self part time to build a customer base while working full time to save the money you need to get started. Rember lenders want to see if you have money of your own to invest and if you have a customer base before they will give you a loan. Hope this helps :-)
Get a book called “The E Myth” by Michael E. Gerber its not more then $15. It wont teach you how to get capital but it will help you with your new business.
There are two ways to get start up money. First there is bank loans. They work just like most other loans, go to your bank and ask about them.
next you will can try to find investors. There are people who’s whole job is to invest in new business and reap the rewards once that new business takes off. Its like taking on a silent partner. Bewared their not always so silent.
I tried to find an invest one time but they said that they want the money back even if I go under I don’t know how to find some one that is willing to take a risk on a new business
i know that if i only had the traffic i could make it happen
my work is good and i pay for the best product that way it looks even better
i know how to keep the work flow going but i cant get the people in i dont know why
and when i do get them in they want all the photos but cant pay for them

If they want the money back, they are giving you a loan and are not an investor.
An investor is a partner, who like you assumes the risk of the investment for the chance at a positive return on their investment.
The first step to getting an investor to back you is to write a business plan, and to create a business presentation. With this plan and presentation you have to convince the inventory that your company will make him money and you have to do it very businesslike. Don’t talk about photography, he doesn’t care about photography, he cares about numbers. How will you make him money, how many pictures are you going to sell and how much do you see the business growing in the next year, 5 years, 10 years. What do you think your expenses are going to be like? That sort of thing. You will also have to convince him why your business is going to be different then the next guys. He won’t want to invest in an untested venture when he can easily invest in one that is already established; unless you give him a reason to think why you’re going to be different.
try researching on other similar businesses to see how they did it and who they are connected with… maybe for a similar business to find out how they did it.
Go to your local library and bookstores and research business plans, the things that Da (the message above) is talking about.

You have a real problem then, You need to work less on the photography and more on the business.
There is one thing you need to understand, it is the most important think to your small business. Just because you are a great photographer doesn’t mean you know how to run a photography business. The two things are very very different and the skills that help you be a great photographer don’t help you (and may even hurt you) when you try to be a business manager. You will need to learn how to be a business mangier, even if it comes at the expense of your photography work. It’s a completely different mind set and you will have to learn how to balance those two different mind sets.
Thanks, but does any one know where to find some one that would invest
where do you live
You have helped me a lot i will keep all of the thing you told me in mind
Check out this web page, it has more information then I can give here.
Building up a customer driven service can be really hard. I know a lot of people who work a ‘normal job’ and then do photography on weekends or schedule shoots after normal business hours (for head shots and group photography).
You really have to get your name out there before I think it becomes a stable form of revenue.
Try advertising through things like craigslist.
I can help you getting people into your business and I won’t charge you anything at first. If you would like my help let me know.
Foto maybe you don’t understand where you are at. This is help.com and he is not asking us for money but suggestions. Sometimes people can’t find another avenue. I’m sure you have heard of the saying two heads are better than one. We are all here to help not critisize.

I too am a photographer..BUT.. never once did I ever ask PC posters for either advice or money for a start-up business. Is this what this world is coming too..the asking of money or “how to do it” the easy way??
He hasn’t asked for a hand out. He is seeking capital just like trillions of businesses that came before him. He is also looking for information about his business just like trillions of entrepreneurs that came before him have. The internet is a powerful tool to do both.
If you haven’t tried to gain capital or asked for information about running a business I would suggest your company is not leveraging important business tools.
Yeah, Craigslist! I found my wedding photographer on Craigslist.
