A leading world economist has suggested the use one global currency.

It’s been argued that with one world currency, the global economy would stabilize and growth would occur unilaterally. How do you feel about this issue, pro/con/neutral?

try and get different nations to agree on what to make the currency look like… nevermind agree how to work it… it seems like a decent enough idea i think, but i also think it will lead to some conflict, as wierd as it sounds…

Bible predicted cashless society rev:13-16 and he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,to receive a mark in their right hand,or in their foreheads; rev:13-17 and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark,or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

In effect, there is only one currency, and there has been for some years. It used to be the dollar, but now it’s the euro. But even in the euro zone growth is not stable or even. But what do you mean by “growth occuring unilaterally”? Unilaterally means “on one side”. which one side would growth occur on? And is growth always a good thing?

This is the situation now. It all comes down to the same “credit units”. It is one world. Look at it. Look at how the “credit units” are distributed. Who has them and who doesn’t. If you think carefully about the words of “Imagine”, this is exactly what we have. Everyone living for today, no one thinking about tomorrow. No heaven. Just people running after “credit units”

I don’t understand, one US dollar (credit) doesn’t equal one MEX peso.
It sure seems like quite an imbalance.
