step 1) be online late at night

step 2) wait for another mod to make a random post about how he / she can’t sleep

step 3) talk to that mod about random nothingness

honestly, that’s all it takes

actually i forgot the invisible step 4, which is:

do all of that when the admins are recruiting new mods.

i mean, you can do all of that anytime, and make friends and whatnot, but it’ll only turn you into a mod in certain specific circumstances.

i think the site is full-to-bursting with mods at the moment, but then again, i’m really out of touch lately and you shouldn’t listen to anything i say anyways :D

well.

last time they wanted more mods, they asked all the existing mods to nominate a regular, frequent user who they thought would make a good mod.

then we got invitations over email.

that’s all.

what makes a good mod? lol some who never insults anybody. im cut out then. ive made some mistakes, ive never properly tried to offend any1.
but still, its not a big deal anyway not having place, pretty much curious how it works.
