I am looking for help with Christmas for my Four Children ages 13(boy), 10(boy), 9(girl) and 6(boy).

I am a single mother workin’ my hiney off to make ends meet. I make just enough money to pay my bills. My children have been through alot and have been really great kids, I couldn’t ask for more from them. They have been my rock. All I want to do is give them the Christmas they never had. If anyone knows anybody that could help it would be greatly appreciated.

go to these places http://digitalcharity.com, http://www.cyberbeg.com, http://my-donation.com or http://www.modestneeds.org

This is really not a money-help site. Hope everything works out for you and your family. Best Wishes!!

Also talk to your local church’s. Many of them have programs set up to help the people in the community during Christmas.

Local fire stations usually do toy drives and such, ask them for help.

Thanks for the advise guys. I checked out the websites that Homes-James submitted. Wish me luck. I have asked at local community organizations, but they all want you to come on to fill out application. I cannot afford to take off work. If I miss even a couple hours of work I can’t pay my bills. But thanks to all for the advise.

So often we spend hundreds, no thousands of dollars on Christmas presents only to have disappointment. Why don’t we think of ways to have a great Christmas without spending the fortune. Some of my ideas:
Take them on a drive through some neighborhoods that really went all out decorating their houses.
Volunteer together at a nusery home.
Help feed the homeless on Christmas
join or form a group and sing carols house to house.

These are the things me and my family remember from christmas not what we got or didn’t get. (and we were quite poor)

If we teach to give instead of get, we’ve done more for our child than anything else.

Check with Community Action or if its there the Horn of plenty. They usually give out Christmass presents for the kids along with a food baskets for the holidays. And You will have to find time to fill out those applications before you will receive help, thats just the way it works. Its to make sure your ligitimate. Hope this helps :-)
