I need some ideas for presents for a two year old boy.
I am a step-parent and I know what he likes and I’ve been pondering a few things. But, I was hoping some parents out there could tell me about some things their kids really liked….maybe some fun things that would help expand his little mind. It would be much appreciated.

Depends on the kid really, my lil 2 year old nephew loves to smash things so I got him a lil wooden thing with some pegs and a hammer, when my 4 year old nephew was 2 he loved books so I got hims a few books and a colouring book.
Little People by Fisher Price

They are always a big hit with the young ones!
my kid likes the wrapping paper more than the toy- anything elmo some kinda bike thing a tool kit for kids where they can bang things
my 2 year old would rather throw little people in the toilet than actually play with them
anything you buy make sure it isn’t worth a fortune within a month the child will be interested in something else
i goto the thrift shop
I just got my nephew a toy called Fold Up & Go Train by Little Tikes. As a mom myself I like when my children have toys that store within themselves so you dont have little parts lost everywhere in the toy box
I like the banging tools idea, that was always one of my favorite things, and it hadn’t even occured to me…the clean up is something I didn’t really factor in either. What about educational stuff? I mean books and the educational movies are a given, but what about games and things we could do with him?
oooh yeah
ANYTHING by leapfrog- their educational and can be interactive with you and him
no problem I have this leapfrog thing he loves it and its educational

Our little boy loves instruments and his little trike. He’s almost 2.
Ya, I always bust out the pots and pans with the wooden spoons for him, it’d be cool to actually get him little drums or something like that….his mom was talking about getting him a trike, so, I don’t
i have never had a 2 year old anything but i do know that my friend had a baby and i went to walmart and they have that age thing on all the toys its pretty cool!! just get the right age and you are cool for getting something that is cool.
Educational videos. I think “Little Einstein” is for kids that age, although there’s lots of videos like that for 2 year olds. I can understand if the mom doesn’t want the kid watching too much tv, but videos are a great way to keep the kid entertained, yet learning at the same time.
I’m not a parent, but an older brother (much older, so I feel like a parent at times) to two little boys.
No, mommy sticks him with cartoons all day, it’s me and daddy that want things that will help his little brain grow….Little Einstien sounds good though, we’ll have to investigate…thank you again everyone
anything really works try a fishing pole the kind that you can use in the tub. toy aisle at walmart around five dollars.
what about buying a present for a 2yr old that is your friends kid but you have no idea what he needs, wants or likes???????????? pleas help!
yeah i already have dat hahahaha lol
lite brite is by far one of the best toys for all ages. you can still get them at toys r us. ive been playing withe them for 20 years!
