I don’t think they succeeded… Not many people have heard of DHL. A business model of outdoing a competitor is usually a bad business move. It generally leads to a company not making a name for itself and known as an imitator competitor.

What DHL is doing in USA, I cannot tell (mid to high level admission is that they are losing the game to Fedex in the start), but their organization and level of professionalism in Western Canada is a big joke. They are thriving on shipper’s (sellers of the courier services) market as it is now here and are very lucky that the accountants and business professionals from Germany (headquarters) are far away from the know.
