Any good ideas on where to take somebody on a date?

I was at a party, extremely drunk, and I asked a girl I know on a date. This is no big problem, except I don’t have the faintest idea where to take her. I am a poor student, so expensive dining is impossible, and the films in the cinemas around here are a little lame.

It is pretty cold out, which is also a pain.

Any ideas?

Ok–easy easy. Is she a mellow/nice girl?
Do you have a car?

If so, (make some cookies and hot chocolate) pick her up (weather is getting cold, it’ll show your a sensitive guy (scores points) and its relaxting and she wont need to worry about making a fool of herself (we do worry about that at times) Plus, if you take her to eat, most girls don’t really eat on the first date (lame but sadly its the truth). Bring her back home (to your house) and put in a dvd.

While she’s there, talk to her (girls like talking), ask her about when she was little, and about her family and such.
(scores more points, these type of girls like family and being relaxed and cared for).

If she’s a high classy/ w/e kind of girl or both^^—take her to a TGI Fridays, it’s non expensive and awesome up-beat place. perfect for a first date.

** you can never go wrong with Fridays, maybe even fridays then the hot chocolate later :) depends how the date goes.

Well, she is a friend. We have been flirting on and off for ages now, and it seems like going somewhere to ‘get to know her’ is a little pointless, because we both know and like each other already. I was thinking of something fun, maybe a little romantic, and within my resources.

I have:

No car.
Little money.

And I live in the middle of nowhere.

OK, buy her flowers (cheap). Then, sounds odd but take her out at 3 am. (its the middle of night and day, like of like the middle of worlds. Like you’re the only people there. Take her for a walk–. Romantic

Take her to the store and rent a movie(it’s cheap) and go back to your place where you have cooked a meal for her and eat while listening to nice music and after meal watch the movie and cuddle on the couch…
