One of the post tags is “Sodium nitrite”.

I checked my iTunes library and the average size of a song is about 9MB. If your songs are closer to that size, then it holds about 228 songs.

If you really want a Ultra Average if 4GB iPod Mini hold 1k Songs. And you said 2GB then just Half 1k!

Simple! Thats a Average, i don’t know the average file size, but thats what i use to measure things if I’m not sure. it works.

I have the same MP3 Player, I’ve got over 300 songs on mine and it’s only halfway full. So I’d say close to about 500-600 songs. Depending on the size of the song files, it may be a little more, or a little less than that.

Off-topic, but I prefer Sansa’s more than iPod’s.
