to tell you the truth.. life is what you make of it only you are responsible for how hard or how easy it is depeding on the choices that you have made through the people you choose to be with or the job you choose.

Hmm… actually, there isn’t anything in life that’s easy. Least of all an easy way to get through it.

A positive idealistic way of looking at it is that you always have to work hard for the things that really matter and the reward is always worth it.

Course i agree with you. I wish everything in life was easy :)

But when it isn’t, ah well, take a deep breath and just plough through the bad stuff. Quickly :)

There is one way I have found to get through life painlessly. That is to train yourself not to care about anything. Go numb; make no attachment to your surroundings.

I am not convinced that this is the best way to live your life, though.

I think the most important thing is to focus on the good aspects of living and be thankful come what may. The rest will fall into place.

Some religions aim for complete detachment, though, which is close to what I’m describing. Buddhism comes to mind.

Again, to focus on the good in life is to detach, in one sense of the word, from the mess the rest of the world is in, and I am not speaking of Buddhism, just Christianity.

you’ve just gotta work harder and harder.. and harder until explooooooosion you have life to the max
someone once asked, what is life?
..they waited for a reply ..
****
people couldn’t help but vote as their favourite that life was.. ****
you just have to do the best you can
and love it for what it is
and someday, it will be more than the wee **** it is now
it will be much more
and worth greater
life will be worth greater
just do your best
the thing is
people who believe in god don’t experience the awfulness
and the truth does set you free
so god will help you if you want him to
if you let him and accept god for what he is
god will be there for you always
and he will regardless of what you believe
but he is not perfect
so take care and be great

I have to go now, but I hope I have given you something to think about. Prayers are answered, believe me. Have a blessed day.

I think the Buddhist stance on detachment is to detach from desire specifically. You release the desire for possessions, the attention of others, etc, and thus find some higher form of existence.
