Our bodies are composed of chemical compounds. You have to know how the body works chemically to understand how treatments work. EX: kidney dialysis http://www.chemistry.wustl.edu/~edude…

You don’t need to know chemistry to be a good nurse. All the crap you have to take is just to prove you have it in you to hang in there and finish something difficult. If you can’t make it in education, you probably don’t have the “smarts” to be a nurse. Are you sure you want to be a nurse? It’s such a drag. Nothing magical about it. It’s a lot of very hard work, and stress. After a couple of years you’ll wonder why in the world you ever thought you wanted to do this. Well, maybe you’ll feel differently. But every fellow-nurse I’ve ever met wish they’d done something else. An RN in NC
