Samsung Mobile Phone Question.

I have just bought the Samsung J600 mobile phone (in blue) on pay as you go. I want to know how to stop it making a noise just after I send a text message and how to stop it popping up with my balance (and with yet more noise) just after I make a call. I’ve been through all the menu’s and the instructions and can’t seem to switch these sounds off.

Anyone worked this out yet (short of putting the phone on silent)? Thanks!

I’ve just rung Samsung, who had no idea. At one point they actually told me to put my phone on silent. Which, as I pointed out, would mean I wouldn’t hear my phone ring! The Samsung guy is looking into it and will ring me back apparently. (not holding my breath!)

Ok.. the first part… you can probably check in your settings and sounds.

The second one is an option from pay as you go and you won’t be able to remove that since it’s built in by the phone company and not Samsung

mine does that too!
except it is a sony ericsson k750i.
but it only vibrates a little bit when its said my balance. the annoying thing is if i dont press “ok” then i cant receive texts and calls! lol
