How do i convince my parents to let me go black friday shopping with a bunch of friends?

i’ve never went black friday shopping before alone with my friends, and i’m 15. how do i convince my mom? i’m going to tell her that i will call her everytime i reach a destination; bus, subway, store, lunch, etc. but the thing is that i have to wake up at around 3, 4 and i don’t know if she’ll let me. i’m going to ask her thursday night, but i don’t know if she’ll let me. i really want to go with my friends because all the stress from school hasn’t let me gone out with friends yet, what can i tell her so that i can go!

My opinion is that you should not go. Rabid consumerism is no way to deal with stress. Black Friday is a symbol of what is wrong with our country.
Is it possible for you to hang out with your friends without going out and buying more useless junk no one needs? And if not, don’t you think that’s a problem?

I’m with crestfallen, join The Church of Stop Shopping, do you really need more things? Spend the day having a clothes swop with your friends or sorting thru stuff you have that you no longer need so can give to charity shops.

I own only three pairs of shoes and am proud. Wish I could get it down to one. You can only wear one pair at a time, its not like knickers where you need a few pairs to be in the wash, think of all the people in the world with no shoes.

promise them that you will try harder on your school work, if thats the problem and actually do it or they won’t trust you and let you go shopping again… and you know you don’t have to go black friday you can go b/w now and christmas and it will still be cheap

because the the numbers of the stores go from the “red” as in losing money to “black” as in making money because people are buyin so much stuff
