Do you believe in Karma?

Do you think you get back what you give out? I do. But my real question is, how long will you have to suffer for it? When can a person truly get over there “wrong doings”??

Karma is funny, because you will never really know if its real or not. Same with Destiny. If someone tells you your destiny and it happens whos to say in your sub conscience you didn’t make it happen.

I personally believe in Destiny. I believe everyones destiny is sort of like a story and different things are just meant to happen and out of our control depending on who writes in our story. Take for instance, the man who killed my dog. He decided that he was going to get drunk and drive home therefore writing a short line in my destiny which leads to him killing my dog. I had no control over what he wrote.

As for Karma, I believe we get judged after death instead of during this life. I mean how many rotten and selfish people do you know who are living it large and amazingly kind people who are suffering?

Karma seems to keep kickin my ass. It seems that I have no luck with anything and anything that I do, turns bad or falls apart. My boyfriend says its because of the things I’ve done in the past. But damn! How long will it last for?? How long will things continue to fall apart? When will this bad luck streak go away and leave me alone?

Even if you are processing though bad Karma, at worst it will bring your life challenges. Bad Karma alone won’t actually ruin your life. The universe always provides the option of learning the right lesson, or gaining the right attitude - and this gives us the chance for happiness. If you feel your bad luck isn’t going away, maybe you need to change your focus and your attitude. Our frustrations with life come from unmet expectations. Change your expectations and release your attachments and you might find happiness. Perhaps if you explained what your bad karma is looking like to you…

And Queen Elizabeth, I’m quite interested in hearing you share what you think karma is feeling like in your life. Will you share?

When my son decided not to eat his supper, there are natural consequences..he is hungry. When we choose to eat a tub of ice cream, there are natural consequences, we gain weight. When we conciously do something that we know will harm us, we sin against ourselves, and there are natural consequences. This is Karma, you reap what you sew. Having said that when we beat ourselves up over choices we made in the past, (possibly with less awareness than we have now) the butt kicking will last as long as we beat ourselves up over it. Learning to love yourself and forgive yourself is key here. Those millions of selfish people living on the planet walking around hurting others, are not living a happy fufilled existence, mark my words…They are living in their own self created hell. It is all about choice and awareness. learn from your “mistakes” or they will have been made in vain and you are destined to repeat them. Make a new choice and move on darlin! Staying in a place of guilt and suffering serves no one, least of all you. Is it getting you the results you desire? What do you see as the outcome if you stay in this place? Love yourself, and get back up on that horse…Peace

if you do something bad, do something good afterward, to cancel out the bad karma. like if you yell at your friend one day, apologise and buy them lunch the next day. thats what i do.

We all have choices we make. I do believe in Karma, but I also believe there are times that you have to accept the negative Karma if you know you are doing the right thing. You will continue to suffer the impacts of Karma as long as you let yourself carry that negativity that brought it upon you to begin with. as hard as it is, let it go, move on and focus on the positive things in your life, and those things you are doing, then you will see that the good Karma has always been there but you were to busy holding onto the the negative.
