When i was in middle school, i did the equivilant of joining the service, i joined the young marines.
I did it, because i felt like i needed structure in my life.
I understood that i was upset, i also understood that i am better than being upset!
The young marines,
The fight,
The underage drag-racing,
The weed,
The alcohol,
The shrooms,
The drunk driving,
The family road trip
The perscription drugs,
The masterbation,
The sex,
The acid,
The ex,
I did it all! because they said i couldn’t.
I was led to believe that i couldn’t handle those things, for whatever reason.
I knew that i would never know unless i tried.
I did it to prove a point, to my parents, and to myself.
I can do anything!
When i, myself, am a parent, i will enstill good values in my kids:
Love,
Courage,
Devotion,
Responsibility,
Understanding,
Communication,
Respect,
Selflessness…
(everything that i had to learn on my own)
I will provide my child/childeren with unlimited possibility!
