I can’t view any images on the internet.

I have windows xp and I use mozilla firefox. This is really getting annoying. It has been like this since last night, nothing changed to my knowledge, and I have tried restarting. It is all websites. Everything works just fine, but I can’t see anything. Pictures on here (even the website designs and logo’s nothing) just show up as nothing or white boxes. For recent members online it just says online where each picture is. How do I fix this? I don’t know much about computers. On other website where pictures belong it just says what the picture is in small words… I am SO frustrated!!! HELP!!!!!

try this
1- Open Mozilla Firefox
2- Click on Tools ==> Options ==> Content ==> then see if the case “load images automatically” is checked

I have exactly the same problem. Tried everything I know and nothing works. Reinstalled Firefox and Java, but the same problem is in IE. It isn’t all pictures - e.g. profile pics in Facebook. It must be a setting somewhere and I am going mad trying to solve this. It isn’t the loads automatically Mozilla setting. Any ideas anyone?

Thank God for you ak.ewss! Mine was checked but I unchecked it and checked it back and all the pictures are re-appearing thank you :) what a nightmare!

Do you have firewall installed on your computer. Try to disable it and see if it works.

on internet explorer, click tools===>internt options===>advanced===>scroll down to multimedia settings===>make sure the “Show Pictures” box is checked.

It worked for me, i had the same problem :)

same problem, my computer crashed and i had it restored. then when i go onto the internet i cant see any images, i installed adobe flash player, and i installed the driver to my graphics card still nothing, ive done the check show pictures box in IE, and ive loaded pictures automaticly in Mozilla…still nothing…any solutions?

the same with me, I can see some images on facebook though, but some just don’t show, it’s just a blak box instead. “show images” under multimedia settings in Explorer Tools were checked
