I am a single mom, and was just laid off work last Thursday and my car reposed the same night.

I know this doesn’t help but I will pray for you.

Try looking at the different bus routes, subway routes etc. for the time being. It may be your only choice. It may get very tough at the beginning but once you get enough money to get a car than things will get better.

It also doesn’t hurt to put your place up in the newspaper saying you are looking for a roomate with a car. Just be careful. There are dangerous people out there.

Public Transportation is a good choice but some cities like Detroit do not have it. If you do not have public transportation try to get some of those real cheap cars that are like you know old. It should work until you can get another one.
