I want to work in America,

I am a wedding photographer and want to move & work in Las Vegas, the problem is I cannot get a work permit (I am from England), although I could work like the Mexicans, but my visa lasts for only 3 months, anyone have any advice on what I could do? thanks

I’m still inquiring why you referenced that you could work as the “Mexicans.” For your information, it’s not just Mexicans, it includes anyone who is an immigrant from another country. This includes England. Well, as far your question goes, you can seek help from many organizations that are working on helping out immigrants. Surely they can help you.

I’m sure he didn’t mean any offence. He meant that he could work illegally, like many illegal Mexican immigrants. And I doubt anyone would’ve gotten it if he said “work like the Latvians” or “work like the Scottish”, because the U.S.’s biggest community of illegal immigrants are Mexican, as Mexicans have the easiest way of getting across the border (besides Canadians, but Canada is not a 3rd world country and have no real reason to illegally enter the U.S. for better oppurtinity and lives.) Yes, it was a generalization on his part, but generalizations, I find, are only offensive if said in a hateful or deragatory manner by a hateful person, and chrispot didn’t seem hateful to me. Besides, there’s plenty of stereotypes of other cultures, like “Drink like the Irish” or “Eat spaghetti like the Italians”.

I’m a Thai teacher at government school, I have 2 children…my son 27 years and my daughter 26 years, they have good job and live in bangkok. I’m a teacher 29 years and I want retire my work but now I’m 50 years and good health. I wish to find new job and travel at America. America is my dream from many years.
