What does the best man do at a wedding?

Bachelor party, speech…

When he’s really drunk and having cold feet you keep him together, make sure he gets to the church on time, has his suit/tux the rings (you carry them unless you have a ring bearer), if he has to write vows—you make sure he gets that done too. Anything he could possibly forget, you try and keep him on point, so he doesn’t look like a fool. ;)

If you take the job seriously, you are basically taking care of details that the groom can’t on the wedding day. You really have to talk to the groom to determine what he needs, but it could be anything from organizing breakfast for the groomsmen all the way to driving his car home from the airport after the newlyweds leave on the honeymoon…

Don’t forget the toast at the end of the speech!
