I have a public speaking problem…

I’m perfectly fine talking out loud in class but if I ever have to read out loud or give a speech, my body goes into panic mode… Any tips??

Well, one thought would to imagine your the only one in the room. Or practice in front of a mirror. And if your good at that you can pretend your talking to your mirror when really your talking to a bunch of people.

well, thats the way i was until about 2 years ago, when i started attending a school that required extensive public performances, speechs, etc, etc. i made up outlandish excuses to not do it, and i always ended up having to do it. long story short, i counquered my fear by doing it as much as i could. What i had to do for a while was just concentrate every bit i could onto keeping the right face, voice inflection, etc. and before i knew it, i was getting continuously more confortable with public speaking.
