I need help…

my Belkin wireless router stopped working after a dsl outage. The thing is, I can connect to it with my laptop, but it says only local access which will not get me on to the internet. I’ve called Belkin but EVERY person I get has such a thick Indian accent that I cannot get anywhere…please, anybody can help??????

Unplug it and have it reset itself or use a pin and push the rest on the back. Now use the install disk that came with it and reinstall your laptop internet settings. just do the same steps that you did when you first setup your router. Hope this helps :-)

you might as well get a new wireless router because belkin routers suck evertime my power goes out the belkin gets messed up so i sent it back for a refund and got a router from my service provider even though it is alot of money i would rather not have to be trying to fix my internet all day long.
