Need help with a marketing plan!

Hi I have this upcoming project where I have to develop a marketing plan for a new product for a new market. This starts with the

Maketing objective (target market, expected sales, profit expectation, mkt coverage)
Product adaptation
Promotion mix (advertising, msg, costs)
Distribution
Channels of distribution
Price determination (costs)
Terms of sale

and so on.

The report should be about 200 pages.

Well I have never done this before, and I am really started to freak out. Does anyone have any similar report? If so, then can you pls pls pls email it to me?! I need to see how it is done. It would help me a lot. Thanks.

First take a deep breath. Ok, now you need to break this down start with your marketing objective. What is it that you are going to market? that should be your first step, then break it down from there. Your target mkt., expected sales….etc..Also talk to business people in your area they will be able to help you with this. Contact your chamber of Commerce because every area has a group of retired business owners that may be able to help you out as well.

fist off a marketing plan should not be a book, or a one page leaflet. if it is a plan for an investor they wont read it if its a novel, if its too short they will not think you serious. firs of stat with your outline.
then brak it into sections. at each section take all the information most purtinat to the plan and use it. any additional information can be included in the closing of the plan. only use what is important. if you need help writing it im more than willing to help
