this is about what people think of the soldiers that come back from viatnam

on veterans day,my school went to a old movie theater called the kirby, there was this guy in there that talked to veterans and got pictures from them.every picture had a story of its own,he said that one guy went every where with his dog, another went home in there uniform and was never spoken to till they got there.some are really respected, some are not,my point is these people risk there life for you,and you should respect them, tell me,what do u think of veterans from viatnam?

It, like all wars, was sad to see so many boys get ripped from their fammilys to fight a war noone was for. I have respectfor these people. I respectthe fact that they are still alive.

Exactly, instead of the draft they are using poverty to recruit people, promising college educations, lot of good college does for a dead soilder. (Just my opinion)

Personally I have to say I have more respect for the 5.1 million Vietnamese people that were killed in the conflict. Of those 5.1 million, 4 million were said to be civilians (if they were armed civilians or not, I really don’t know). All I know is that the people of Vietnam aren’t still crying over that war.

at the kirby the guy said that some type of animal was more important then the people, they had to pay $700 dollars if the killed the animal, and $500 if they killed one of the viatnam people that were not in battle
