Is there anything I can do with my media player that will allow me to see video with it cutting in and out?

w00t! Dial up! … no prob not much you can do… I’m no technological wizard but 56k isn’t very good for streaming big media files

Help me with: If you do not have access to the mains power supply, and the earthing in your house is not proper, is there anything you can do to prevent shocks ?
