He just told me he wants to be with me forever - I am so excited I need someone to tell, but it’s 4:30 in the morning.

We’ve been trying not to get too close because he’s in the navy. We’re not even “together” right now - but we still see each other and I am so in love with him.

He calls me up at 3, I just tell him I’m in bed, he asks if he can say something without me judging him. He says he really loves me - I tell him the same - that he cares about me - ditto. Then he says he can’t find the words. I tell him to just say what he feels. He says that what he really wants to tell me is that he wants to be with me forever.

I’m not saying it means anything. He’s going out to sea soon. And it’s not like he popped the question or anything. It’s just like a dream, though. I can’t believe he feels the way I do. I’ve never felt this way about anyone before. Every time I see him, because of the navy, I never know if it will be the last time. But I am so lucky to just have him in my life. I love him so much. I worked really hard to improve myself as a person, and I am so grateful that he’s part of my life whether we’re together or not.
