up and causing the computer to have a automatic shutdown in 1 minute how can I fix this program so it doesnt do it again

The famous lsass.exe problem. Yep, probably malware, though any number of variants exploit that process. To abort the shutdown, go to start>run, type “shutdown -a” (no quotes) and hit enter. Otherwise, do run antispy and antivirus. If the problem continues, there are a number of additional and more time-intensive fixes, many requiring the presence of your operating system’s installaton disc. This thread may help if you have more than the one legitimate lsass.ese located in c:\windows\system32:
