Hi my name is Shameka I am a 24 year old single parent of two wonderful kids. My son name is Lerell he is 5 years old and my daughter name Zyaire she is 1 month old. The holidays is real stressful to me because Thanksgiving Day of 2000 I losted my first son he was two months old. On Easter of 2006 I losted my 8 year old nephew. And when I was 14 years old my father pasted away in my arms. I have really been though alot in my life. But right now I’m on a fixed income and that goes to my bills. I have know money left over for my kids. I struggling with my bills. But my son really deserves to have a good Christmas this year he has been so good. And he is a big help taking care of his little sister. I feel so bad I can’t get him nothing this Christmas. Hi, my name is Julie I am a single disabled mom of a wonderful son. This year his senior year the first football game he broke his hand and now the second practice for basketball he has torn his MCL and ACL ligaments in his knee. We have gone from Dr to Dr for Julian but his senior year will never be the same. I get no support from his father and I suffer with my own issues aswell. I just had both of my knees replaced and suffer everyday with pain and wonder how I will make it day to day and wait the upcoming surgery for Julian which is Feb 27th of 08.
I could really use some or any kind of help for this holiday, I do not have a tree, I do not have money to get Julian even one gift. I have gone to my community but seems there are no slots for me as everyone else beat me to asking for assistance this holiday season. I pray everynight for some sort of miracle but reality sets in and I wonder……….. Julian is a wonderful young man he maintains the honor roll since 3rd grade I would really like to honor him in some sort of way. He is 18 and I am 41 any help would be appreciated. Thanks Julie

I my name is Cheryl Perry i just moved here from Delaware and i don’t have friends or family here i came here after living in a damestic relationship. Iam a devorced mother with 2 girls 14 and 11 my kids don’t want much my 14 year old want a laptop computer for school or a digital camera and my 11 year old wants a bike or brat dolls and what i want is to see my kids happy and if i had to get something i would like to have some bath towels.

Hello: My Name is Misti White I am sending this to whom ever can help me. I am a low income Mom that really needs help with getting my family Christmas gifts.I am struggling to get them gifts this year, because there is no work or resources to accomodate me at this time.I try to do everything I can to help anyone that is in worse shape than me. My problem is I’m always helping someone,when I really don’t have a lot. But because I have such a big heart I will do what it takes to help someone less fourtunate than myself.I have had the worse year ever.Although I am blessed to be alive and blessed to be in position to feed,clothe,or even give someone shelter, yes I share my blessings.Basically I have four children ages 19,17,16 and 13 three girls and one boy I can’t work due to a previous back surgery,I also broke my ankle in 2 places just this Oct 2008.My husband is a painter but there is no work out there for him because people are losing their home due to the economy.So we are struggling to make ends meet with one very, very low income.I could go on and on about my situation but,I’ll just say this If you knew me you would know that in spite of my circumstances I’llalways continue to help my fellow man being a GOD fearing woman, So now I need help now.If you can at all find it in your heart to help me with this one wish I would be ever so grateful.please find it in your heart to help me.The things I need are shoes and clothing for them all, I don’t need anything” except to see my kids smile on Christmas Morning If you can not help me I will completely understand because someone else’s situation is more serious than mine.I’ll close my reply by saying THANK YOU TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY REPLY.I SINCERELY APPRECIATE THIS TREMENDOUSLY.
