i have a question.

The width of a rectangle is one half its length. The perimeter of the retangle is 54 cm. What are the widths and length of the rectangles?

Make an if then statement:
If x= the wide
Then 2x= the length

then you just do
x+2x+x+2x= 54
6x=54
x=9
2x= 18
So the width is 9 cm and the length is 18 cm. (just giving some work AUSTIN198)
