Okay, first off, it ain’t your fault. You didn’t do anything wrong so you shouldn’t be helpless. However, having your kids sent to prison can do things to a parent. This is really a hard topic to touch because I can’t give you very much personal expirences since my kids are still young. Do you still love them or do you have fights with them a lot? It may be hard but sometimes kids take the wrong road in life and it causes problems in familys. When this happens, sometimes, the parent must just move on. Try to put the past behind them and look ahead and hope for the best.

My son is in a Prison in Kansas, I visit him every three weeks as it is a 3,5 hr drive. It is heartbreaking to go there but I try to keep upbeat for his sake, he is a woderful child, who at eighteen has had more life experienses than I wish he did.
